As usual, we held an exhibition as part of the Lisvane Festival on 1st and 2nd July. A disappointment was that we didn’t get the benefit of the Lisvane Players opening on the Friday evening, which was therefore rather quiet. The Sir Julian Hodge Festival Trophy, was judged by Dan Peterson of Peterson Art Supplies, who chose the pen & ink painting of ‘Llyn y Gadair, Cader Idris’ by Ian Philpot as the winner.
